The powerful new diary system is fully integrated with the core modules, allowing entries to be made directly from matter screens such as file reviews, key dates, limitation dates and appointments. It includes task lists and pop up reminders (definable by the user) which work whether or not the diary is open at the time. It also has a powerful reporting function.
The centralised diary system allows all users to view each other’s schedule. There are flexible viewing options and user definable screen displays allowing individual users to view only what they want to see. This also applies to the calendar function. Entries can be placed in multiple fee earner diaries simultaneously and appointments marked as private cannot be seen in any shared views.
The document production system in the PMS or any of the Case Management modules can also put automatic entries into the diary.
Limitation dates can be colour coded by due date and users may select the view by priority allowing easy recognition of when a due date is approaching.
The task function is extremely useful – a user can link back to the matter and create tasks, show stage of progress and maintain outstanding tasks. Tasks may also be created as agenda steps.
The Mountain software diary is interchangeable with Microsoft’s Outlook and will integrate fully with the Mountain Software PMS and its Case Management Modules.
The diary reporting feature is a powerful management tool enabling analysis of all aspects of the diary, for example reports by Fee Earner, court, day, or week.
