 OUTLOOK WEB ACCESS

Outlook Web Access enables users to access their internal email system from any PC with an Internet connection. Users input the relevant web address, and log in using their normal username and password. Outlook Web Access looks and works almost exactly like the desktop version of Outlook, allowing users to read, send and reply to email as well as giving access to calendar, task and contact information. It gives real-time access to the Exchange Server i.e. users can have instant real time access to their email account wherever they may be.

Security

Logging on to a private, secure web page, using an individual’s username and password, ensures that there can be no unauthorised access to the system.

 OUTLOOK MOBILE

With Exchange Server 2003 users can connect from their Windows Mobile-based device to their Exchange Server. Outlook information is pushed to the device allowing emails, diary, tasks and contacts to be made readily available and updated on the mobile device. The mobile device maintains a direct wireless connection with the Exchange Server removing the need for any additional software. Furthermore, the connection to the server requires little or no user intervention reducing the amount of support required for the device.

Security

Some of the most important features of the enhanced mobile integration relates to security and its ability to protect the user from the mobile device falling into the wrong hands. Your IT network administrator can remotely erase devices over the air, giving your business additional piece of mind as it can be reset and all sensitive information erased.
